Aomori, Japan
We take a 40 minute flight out of Hokkaido and land in this eerily quiet city called Aomori. I loved the peace and quiet of this place. Right next to our hotel was this triangular building with an observatory and a park outside that grants you a beautiful view of the ocean. The people were very surprised to see foreigners walking the streets and a lot of people I met in Japan were surprised that I visited Aomori. I heavily recommend you don’t skip out on Aomori if you go to Japan.
Sendai, Japan
As we get off the train to Sendai, I am immediately taken aback by how “Japanese” this city was. There no way to explain it besides the architecture, big billboards, and signs. This was a very fun city, but we didn’t just visit the city. We also visited the beautiful Ginzan Onsen that had a bounty of nature and traditional Japanese architecture.
Tokyo, Japan
This is the city we stayed the longest time in and I still didn’t achieve everything I wanted to so I will definitely be returning to finish those missions. This city was busy, large, but most importantly, stunning. Despite such a large population, this city is very clean and safe. Everyone who visits Japan goes to Tokyo so i don’t need to recommend you go.
Osaka, Japan
I did not expect Osaka to be one of, if not, my favorite places I visited in Japan. It was a lot like Tokyo by nature, but the main reason I enjoyed this place so much was the people. There is a total shift in personality in Osaka that makes it so much different than the rest of the Japanese cities. Not only are the people much more outgoing and friendly, but they also have their own slang that is only present there. おおきに!
Okinawa, Japan
Okinawa is probably where I took my best pictures that I’ve ever taken. This beautiful Island located far off the shores of mainland Japan is special. The beautiful beaches, the stunning views, beautiful gardens, and the infinite photography possibilities are what made this an amazing adventure.
